Background of the Metheringham Village Hall
The present Village Hall was built in 1965; it incorporates the original Reading Room given to the village in 1947 by Mr Townsend, and the land of 4 cottages purchased by the Parish Council in 1964. It is held in trust to be used as a Village Hall by the people of Metheringham and the surrounding area. The hall as been extended twice since 1965, the latest in 2003 with the addition of an entrance hall, ramp, disabled toilet and storage room. The Hall is situated in the centre of the village on Fen Road with a car park off Middle Street.

The Hall consists of a large and small hall, stage with two changing rooms, a kitchen and bar area and toilets. In all there is capacity to hold 200 people for either a stage production or function including dances, disco and wedding receptions.
Daily use of Metheringham Village Hall
The hall is available for hire from 8.00am seven days a week. You hire the whole hall, as it cannot readily be subdivided. It has a number of regular groups that use the hall but Friday evenings and Saturdays are intentionally kept free from regular bookings to enable the Hall to be used for private functions. Hiring charges include heating, lighting, and use of kitchen with cooker, refrigerator, water heater for hot drinks, crockery and cutlery.

8.00am-6.00pm £9.00 an hour
6.00pm-1.00am £13.00 an hour
Preparation time
8.00am -6.00pm £5.75 an hour
6.00pm-1.00am £7.75 an hour
