Metheringham Parish Council Planning Committee Minutes
Minutes PL06/2009 of the Planning Committee Meeting held on Wednesday 14th October 2009 at 7.30pm in the Church Hall
PRESENT: Councillors Mrs J Honisett (Chairman), M Allen, Mrs R Parker and Mrs S Peek. One member of the public.
1. To resolve to accept Apologies for absence and reasons given: Apologies were received from Councillors Mrs R Creasey, Mrs A Webb and A Waddington. It was resolved to accept the apologies and reasons, this was proposed by Councillor Mrs Parker, seconded by Councillor Mrs Peek, and all were in favour.
2. Members Declarations of Interests: Declarations of interest were made by the following Councillors:
Councillors Allen, Mrs Honisett, Mrs Parker and Mrs Peek declared personal interests for all agenda items because they live in the parish.
3. To Consider Applications Received:
a) N39/0649/09 – Proposal: change of use from residential to offices at 6 High Street, Metheringham. There were no comments or objections to this proposal.
b) N39/0652/09 – Proposal: erection of single storey rear extension and raising of roof; demolition of existing garage and erection of replacement double garage to rear of 18 Lincoln Road, Metheringham.
It was resolved to suspend Standing Orders at 8.03pm to allow the property owner to address the committee, this was proposed by Cllr Allen, seconded by Cllr Mrs Honisett and all were in favour.
The meeting resumed at 8.11pm.
There were no comments or objections to this proposal.
c) N39/0657/09 – Proposal: erection of first floor extension over existing garage and erection of detached garage to front at Salaam Cottage, Church Walk, Metheringham. There were no comments or objections to this proposal.
d) N39/0681/09 – Proposal: erection of conservatory to rear of 39 Shiregate, Metheringham. There were no comments or objections to this proposal.
4. To Note Decisions Received:
a) N39/0498/09 – Proposal: erection of detached bungalow at 16 Lincoln Road, Metheringham. Planning permission refused.
b) N39/0504/09 – Proposal: erection of single storey extension at 1 Princes Street, Metheringham. Planning permission granted.
5. Correspondence:
a) Street numbering: Development off Barley Close, Metheringham.
b) Notification of amended plans – N39/0628/09 – for comments. Burger bar has been re-sited. Comments made: “the Council has no objection to the amended plans, but would like to state again that it would like to see permanent buildings on this site, rather than the temporary ones currently being used.”
6. Date, time and venue of next meeting: The next planning committee meeting will take place on Wednesday 11th November 2009 at 7.30pm in the Church Hall.
