Andy McFeeters, the Lincolnshire Lawn Tennis Association Development Officer is
hoping to address a meeting of the MACLA Committee about funding for tennis
facilities. All being well, this will be in June, but he’s a busy person.
At
present the nearest clubs and coaching facilities are in Woodhall Spa, but a
growing population the size of that in the Metheringham area merits its own
tennis opportunities. Adults could dust off their rackets and children
encouraged to take up the game. Coaching for players of all standards of
ability would then be a realistic possibility.
