Cliff Villages (Lincs) U3A
University of the Third Age

Are you retired but not retiring?

If you are interested in joining the Cliff Villages U3A, do come along to Harmston Memorial Hall on Friday 14th September. The meeting commences at 10.30am; coffee served from 10am.

There has been interest in forming many groups, for example – Art, Birdwatching, Complementary Health Discussion Group, Table Games, Gardening, Travel, Village Walks, Walking, Historical Topics, Literature. (Some of these are already up and running).

The guest speaker at our September meeting will be Dennis Valentine, talking about art. Then on October 12th we shall be treated to a talk about Lincolnshire porcelain by Roy Chapman.

Activities are held during the daytime and usually on a monthly basis, but the group decides just where, when and how it meets.

In addition to group meetings there will be a monthly meeting in Harmston Memorial Hall. At these meetings a speaker will be invited. Outings to places of interest may be arranged. Also, participation in the activities of other U3A groups are a possibility.

You can join as much or as little as you wish. The choice is yours.

A warm welcome to you all.
