Programme for 2007

Saturday 31st March - Visitor centre opens for the 2007 season.

Wednesday 29th March - Lecture by Gp Capt F Dorien RAF (retd) 'My Flying Career in the RAF and USAF and conicidences.'

Wednesday 25th April - Lecture by Sqn Ldr M Pugh-Davies RAD 'Flying in Aghanistan'.

Sunday 6th May - Open Day

Wednesday 23rd May - Lecture by Air Commodore GR Pitchfork MBE, RAF (Retd) 'The men behind the Medals'.

Saturday 26th May - 1940s Dance featuring the Ockbrook Big Band

Wednesday 27th June - Lecture by Mr Terry Holloway 'Marshalls of Cambridge'. (They are restoring the Vulcan).

Thursday 12th July - 106 Squadron Association Rememberence service in Martin Church 10.30am

Wednesday 25th July - Lecture by Mr Cliff Clover 'Zeppelins at War'.

Wednesday 26th September - lecture by Mr Ken Ellis (editor of Flypast Magazine) 'The World of Flypast'.

Wednesday 17th October - Presentation by The Red Arrows, the RAF Aerobatics Team

Sunday 28th October - Visitor Centre closes.

Sunday 11th November - Rememberence Ceremony at the Airfield Memorial 10.45am

Wednesday 28th November - Lecture by Mr Peter Stevenson 'Development of long-range flying at RAF Cranwell'

All lectures will be held in the old gymnasium at the visitor centre at 7.30pm. Entry is free to all members and children, non-members £3.00 which includes tea/coffee and biscuits.
