Metheringham Village Hall Fundraising
The Village Hall Committee has recently faced some major financial setbacks, including needing to replace the boiler which is now well past its ‘sell by date’. We are also constantly having to do repairs as a result of vandalism.
Income from bookings will generally cover the day to day maintenance of the Hall, but we are ill-equipped to deal with any major expenditure which may become necessary from time to time.
This being the case we have now set up a fundraising committee so that we can set up an emergency fund. Information about our planned activities is set out below. We hope that the organisations using the Hall, as well as individuals will support us in our endeavours.
We are already extremely grateful to MAD who have made a very generous donation enabling us to replace the stage curtains.
LOCAL PLANT SALE IS BACK
with the SPRING FAIR
on 12th May 2007 from 9.30am - 1.30pm
