Metheringham Senior Citizens Welfare Committee
Our Senior Citizens Party this year was held on Saturday 12th April in the Village Hall. 132 people sat down to tea and entertainment. Once again we had a small army of helper, who prepared the hall, served food, sold raffle tickets and most importantly were car drivers for our more infirm members. Many thanks one and all. Doreen Blackband, and Ros Bell provided beautiful flower arrangements for the tables which was much appreciated. Bill Heath came along and supplied his home-made Plum Loaves and Fruit Cake which are always delicious. Then we were entertained by Tommy Curtis.
