Starlite Twirlers

Welcome – just an update on how the Starlite Twirlers have faired in their competitions since we last wrote.

We started with the B.I.B.T.A. 2007 Individuals Championships in Leeds on 31 March. All our girls performed extremely well and achieved a place in each section they entered.

On the week-end of 11-15 May we attended the B.I.B.T.A. National Competition. The event should have been held at Reighton Sands near Filey but was changed to Mablethorpe. Again the girls did very well. In each section we had a place of 1st, 2nd or 3rd with Troupe, Leader or Mascot.

Once again well done to everyone.

We are now training very hard for our next competition on 14 July in Nottingham. Then we will be having a well earned rest throughout the Summer before beginning training again twice a week in September ready for the first competitions in October.

The girls will however be showing their talents at the RAF Digby – “Party in the Park” on Saturday 4 August so come along and give them your support.
