Remembrance Day Service

Following the Remembrance Day Service in Metheringham Methodist Chapel many of the large congregation and other local people gathered at Metheringham War Memorial on Sunday 11 November for the customary two minutes silence. This year the event seemed to have a truly solemn feeling and the Parish Council and all those involved wish to express their sincere gratitude to motorists and those not involved for allowing the event to pass with the dignity befitting the occasion.
