Metheringham Library Autumn 2008

Our customers were very pleased to hear that we had got back some of the opening hours lost when the timetables were changed in May.

The new times are
Monday 2pm to 5pm
Wednesday 2pm to 7pm
Friday 10am to 4pm
Saturday 10am to 1pm

Have you ever thought of reading large print books? They are borrowed not only by customers who can not read normal sized print, but also by those who like the option of reading without wearing glasses. As these books can not be bought in the shops, why not come and see our selection?

Welcome to Listen HERE. We now have MP3 players available to hire from the library which will help you explore the Spires & Steeples Arts and Heritage Trail running from Lincoln Cathedral to St Denys' Church Sleaford. The players are preloaded with a mixture of recordings from villagers along the route from Lincoln to Metheringham. There are also booklets about the Spires & Steeples walks. Call in for further information.

Watch out for posters advertising our 40th birthday celebrations.

Our reading group continues at 7.30pm on the first Wednesday of the month in the Star and Garter and we also have computer classes run by Lincoln College on Thursday mornings and afternoons.
