Metheringham Methodist Church Centenary Celebrations 2008
For our Centenary Celebrations we held a very successful Flower Festival in June and we would like to thank all the people who worked on the beautiful displays and the many people who came to look at the flowers.

Our next celebration will be the Harvest Festival, on Sunday 14th September, with the morning service at 10.30am being taken by our new Minister The Rev Martin Amery.
The Wesley Singers will lead the evening service at 6.00pm.
On Monday 15th September the Harvest Supper will take place in the Chapel Hall at 7.00pm with tickets priced at £5. Tickets available from Joyce Sellers (01526 321729) and Edna Burns.
At the Fayre & Feast on Saturday 18th October refreshments will be served during the day in the Chapel Hall and in the Methodist Church there will be another chance to see the Shared Memories Exhibition and displays depicting the theme of the Feast.
On Sunday 19th October we close our Centenary Celebrations with a Thanksgiving Service for Methodism in Metheringham. The service will be at 6.00pm led by Wendy Darby and The Band, the local Brass Band.
We are selling commemorative tea towels, at £3, an ideal Christmas present and a booklet about the history and the day to day life of Metheringham Methodist Church over the past 100 years for £1.50p.
