Metheringham Village Fun Day - 31 May 2009

Metheringham Football Club is proposing to again organise (for a third year) a Village FUN Day on the Village Playing field. This has proved to be most popular and this year it will be held on Sunday 31 May 2009.

Any local organisation in the MACLA Area is more than welcome to be involved with any monies raised remaining with each organisation as it is known fund-raising at the best of times is very hard work.

To try and prevent repetition of events on the day it is proposed to have a meeting of all interested parties so their particular theme / idea can be put forward

The Football Club has already identified the following events which it will be running
a) Charity Football match
b) Car Boot
c) Bouncy castle
d) Food Vendor
e) Licensed Bar
f) Local radio
g) Prov. Battle of Britain Memorial Flight

To get things underway it is proposed to hold a meeting in March in the Star and Garter (Lounge).
