Metheringham Village Hall - Spring 2009

The 2nd Christmas Family Party was a resounding success with the hall being full to capacity throughout the evening. It was great to see everyone joining in the festive spirit.
During the evening there was a short ceremony in which a commemorative plaque was received by Mrs Jenni Honisett, on behalf of the Hall Management Committee for their "21st Century Energy Efficiency Project". The presentation was kindly made by County Councillor Mrs Pat Bradwell, District Councillors Mr John Rose and Mr Bill Chambers on behalf of the Lincolnshire Community Grant Scheme.

We would like to take this opportunity to say Thank you to all those who worked hard to organise and run the event and a BIG thank you to the following organisations: Silver Sound Brass Band, Starlite Twirlers, Line Dancers and the Karate Club who all entertained us with demonstrations of their skills. We were also lucky enough to be paid a visit by Father Christmas, in all making for a most enjoyable evening.

CCTV has now been installed covering all aspects of the hall exterior which we hope will deter future acts of crime / vandalism.
