First ever qualified Parish Clerk for Metheringham
At the end of June Sharon Wetherall attained the Certificate in Local Administration (CiCLA) awarded by the University of Gloucestershire.
This certificate in Local Council Administration requires a Parish Council Clerk to prepare a portfolio of their work, demonstrating their basic understanding of the role and principles of local council administration.
By obtained the certificate the clerk is able to demonstrate a high level of competency in their work, which will be invaluable to the council.
At the latest Council Meeting - Chairman, Dr Michael allen presented Sharon with a bouquet of flowers to congratulate her on her achievement in becoming Metheringham's first ever Qualified Clerk.
