Metheringham Methodist Church Christmas Fayre takes place on Saturday 28th November from 10.00a.m. with the usual stalls and refreshments.
There will be a Scottish supper for St Andrews day on Friday 27th November in St Wilfrid's Church Hall at 7.00p.m. Tickets are £8 available from Ann de Vries, Margaret Amos or the Another Chance Shop.
Metheringham Methodist church will be holding their Carol Service on Tuesday 15th December at 7.00p.m. .
The Metheringham, Sots Hole and Tan Vats parish Christmas tree lights switch on and Carol Singing will be on Wednesday December 2nd at 7.00p.m. at the War Memorial near the village cross. Everyone is welcome to come and join in. Further information is available from the parish clerk on 0800 6343307.

The Blankney Bonfire on November 5th had record crowds and thanks to the generosity of all those who attended the event raised £600 which has been designated as follows: £300 going to St Oswalds Church in Blankney, £200 to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance and £100 to the appeal at the Moorlands Centre, Lincoln for Women's Aid. Once again the organisers would like to stress that the event could not go ahead without the goodwill and support of Blankney Estates.
Mission X and Mission Xtra youth clubs will be meeting on Fridays 4th and 18th December in the Methodist Church Hall. Mission X for 7-11 year olds meet between 7.00 and 8.00p.m. and the Mission Xtra for 11-16 year olds between 8.15 -9.30p.m. Further information from Nicky on 01526 322305.
A new aerobics class has started in the village hall on Thursdays between 6-7.00p.m. Cost is £4 per session. For further information contact 01790 763585.
