Metheringham WI celebrated with their Annual Dinner on Wednesday night. Membership has now outstripped the previous venues and this year they were dining at Martin Moor Golf Club where they found excellent food and hospitality. At these events seating is not pre-arranged and each member takes a ticket out of the hat to see who they will be sitting next to. It is a good opportunity to find out more about the other members, their backgrounds and interests and leads to new and more solid friendships.

President Audrey Webb conducted a small business meeting with the opportunity for indoor bowls, a theatre trip, golf, the summer outing, fabric box making, the Phoenix Group Meeting, darts and the Federation Spring Council Meeting all coming up soon. Next month's meeting will be in Metheringham Village Hall at 7.15p.m. when the speaker will be Alan Porter talking about life as an Auctioneer and Cricketer. The competition will be for something beginning with A and membership subscriptions are due.
