MAD's 18th consecutive pantomime is a typical tale of good against evil for all the family to feel a part of. Jimlad Golightly and his mother Semolina aquire a treasure map in lieu of payment from ne'er do well Pegleg Pete. They persuade Squire Le Tawny to finance an expedition to search for the treasure and set sail on the Sea Slug. The fly in the ointment is the villainess Captain Jack Vulture who once had the map and wants it back so sets sail in pursuit with her all female crew on the Black Oyster. Both ships are repeatedly harassed by Minnie Strater, the rat from Health and Safety, and there are various confrontations as all parties close in on the treasure island. Will Jim Lad be able to marry his true love? Will One Eyed Kate get her Justin? Will Semolina marry her squire? and most importantly will anyone get any treasure?

Music, laughter, the cute chorus, all the usual panto gags and fabulous costumes make for a lively colourful performance for all the family to enjoy. Many of MAD's usual favourites including Graeme Pembery and Gaynor Little will be performing alongside newer talent such as Niall Davidson-Petch as the Dame.
