November 2009 Presentation Evening

This was our 1st Presentation Evening, which was attended by 75 people. The evening included a total of 64 awards and was held at Scopwick Village Hall, where we train twice a week. The evening kicked off with a champagne reception and was followed by the presentation, buffet and music.

One of the awards - 'Angels Majorette of the Year' was donated by The Maddison Bignall Trust. The trust was set up by Matt & Jane Bignall, who are the parents of Maddi, who was one of our 'Angels' for almost 3 years. Sadly, Maddi died in October 2007. She was a really special person and loved being part of 'Angels' and we all miss her.

We have some bracelets that we are selling on behalf of 'The Trust'. Anyone
wishing to buy one should contact Lesley on the number below - we are asking for a minimum donation of £1.

The Presentation Evening rounded off an amazing year for the 'Angels'.

We have attended 3 competitions and lots of displays this year including the Newark and Notts. Show, the Heckington Show and the Lincoln Festival.

The girls have all worked really hard this year and have learnt lots of new routines.
