MAWS Update Spring 2010
Our volunteers have been enjoying a well earned rest since our Christmas Market. February sees them getting in gear again as they put out posters for our next event and print and sell the tickets. Following last year's very disappointing demonstration by John Wattam and the problem with him and some of the audience not using a microphone which meant many could not hear what was being said, this has been a worry to us as we thought it might put people off coming again. We hope and pray that it hasn't, though, and you will come this year because we have a real treat in store......
Medium Bryan Gibson and Sue Odam.
They will be in Metheringham Village Hall on Friday 19 March - doors open at 7.00 pm for a 7.30 pm start. Entry is by ticket, price at £7.00. There is no interval so tea and coffee can be purchased from the snack bar before the start and at the end of the evening....the raffle will also be drawn then. To ensure everyone can hear this time, Bates Sound will not only be providing the sound equipment but be in attendance throughout the evening to make sure all is in order. The committee and I feel it is worth the hire charge if you can all hear and enjoy the evening. We hope you will give it a go and turn up.
Tickets are already selling very fast as Bryan is very well known (not a bit like John) and Sue is a bonus!
