St. Peter's Primary School Dunston Spring 2010
It is good to see that the weather is at last improving and we have, perhaps, seen the last of the snow. The children really enjoyed making snowmen and playing on the field but I think in the end they also had seen enough of it!
After a few postponements, matches have started again in the small schools league. The football team have lost narrowly to Walcott and Martin, but the netball team have continued their unbeaten run in the league with a 4-2 win over Martin. Cross country club has started, leading up to race at Nocton in March. The children are enjoying keeping fit by running around the huge Dunston playing field.
Our choir are joining forces with lots of local schools in rehearsing for a special event which will take place in June. All of the local schools have been invited to put on a concert in Lincoln Cathedral in June. Each school will be singing some songs on their own and joining together to sing others. It promises to be a wonderful evening.
