Metheringham Bowls Club Update Summer 2010

The Bowling season started with the usual weather, lacking sunshine and cold winds but bowlers are noted ashappy hardy souls. Unfortunately the season got underway with us having to pull one of our sides out of the League due to a lack of members.

On Sunday 20 June, from 13.00 hrs, we will be welcoming a team from Welwyn Garden City who are touring Lincolnshire. You are all welcome to come along and watch, have a cup of tea and perhaps a pint or two!

You will find our club down the footpath that links Prince's Street with Alfred Avenue (opposite the Playing Field Car Park).

If you like a bit of fresh air and gentle exercise why not come along and try the game yourself - we are a friendly bunch and always looking for new members.
