Dear Councillors

You are summoned to a meeting of Metheringham Parish Council which will be held in the Village Hall on Tuesday 27th July 2010 at 7.30pm. Prior to the official start of the meeting a public forum of not more than 15 minutes will be held if required. The public may address the council between 7.15pm and 7.30pm on current matters, or issues which may become future agenda items and your attendance is also requested during this period. A Police Report will be given at this time.

AGENDA - 27th July 2010

1. To resolve to accept Apologies for Absence and reasons given

2. Members Declarations of Interests: Members may make any declarations of interest at this point but may also make them at any point during the meeting in accordance with the 2000 Local Government Act.

3. Reports from representatives on outside bodies:
a) To receive a report from the County Councillor.
b) To receive a report from the District Councillor.
c) To receive reports from Council representatives on other outside bodies.
d) To receive a report from the Parish Dog Warden

4. Notes of the last Full Council Meeting held on Tuesday 29th June 2010, to be approved and signed as the minutes.

5. Clerks report on matters outstanding (previously circulated)

6. Financial matters:
a) To consider Clerks membership renewal of the Institute of Local Council Management for 2010 at a cost of £50.00.
b) To consider an invite from LALC regarding their AGM and Conference 2010 at Horncastle College on 16th October 2010 at 10.00am - 4.00pm at a cost of £18.50 per delegate and agree representation.
c) To consider accounts for payment.
d) To receive a report from the RFO on the PC finances, Income and Expenditure.

7. Planning Committee: To receive a report from Cllr Mrs Honisett.

8. Correspondence:
a) To note general correspondence (publications and letters are available for viewing).
b) To consider a letter from NKDC inviting two members to attend a 'Corporate Priorities Workshop' to be held on 1st September 2010 at 6.30pm-7.30pm at the Council Chamber, Sleaford and decide accordingly.

9. To receive reports on Outside Meetings:
a) To receive a report from the Chairman on the LALC County Committee meeting held 1st July 2010.
b) To receive a report from members on the LALC 'Councillors Training' held 7th July 2010.
c) To receive a report from Chairman/Clerk on 'What's on the Agenda' training held 13th July 2010.
d) To receive a report from members on the Code of Conduct training held on 13th July 2010.
e) To receive a report from members on the Metheringham Area Cluster Group meeting held on 14th July 2010.
f) To receive a report from the Clerk on the SLCC branch meeting held 16th July 2010.

11. Recreation field & related issues: To receive an update following Forward Planning Meeting held 6th July 2010 (document circulated).

12. Standing Orders MPC/001: To resolve to add to standing orders under Item 1 q (i) - If at least two members so request voting may be by signed ballot.

13. Remembrance Day Service: To approve details for Remembrance Day Service to be held on 14th November 2010.

14. Metheringham & District Swimming Pool Association (MADSPA): To consider the future and organization of the swimming pool, following meeting with MADPSA held on 19th July 2010.

15. Emergency Plan Working Group: To appoint a leader and members to complete an emergency plan for Metheringham.

16. Date, time and venue of next meeting: Tuesday 31st August 2010 at 7.30pm in the Village Hall.

17. Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 Exclusion of the Press and the Public: To resolve that in accordance with Section 1(2) of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 and by reason of the confidential nature of the remainder of the business, the Press and the Public be excluded from the Meeting.

18. To Co-opt a new member to the Parish Council.
