MADSPA Update Winter 2010

Now is the time to say "thank you" to those who have helped to keep the pool open during 2010. Firstly to the committee, Anne, Kerri, Maggie, Lyn and Parish Council Representative Shirley. Also our lifeguards, Zoe, James and Sam and our Swim teacher, Richard.

Thanks to Trevor, who vacuumed the pool every week. John who mowed the grass, a team from RAF Digby who painted with Steve. Reg who helped us with our Race Night at the Londesborough Arms. Mark for fixing the lights and Lee and Stevie for trimming the hedge. Caroline who stood in for the Saturday morning lifeguard and Carl, who, single-handed, emptied the filter bed, moving a ton of sand and gravel and can be relied upon to give us expert advice on running the pool.

Thanks also to the Howsemans who donated a sink top, the Pealls who gave us a gazebo and the Cluster Group of Parish Councils, for a cash donation, which will be spent on updating some of our equipment.

Lastly, thank you to Metheringham Parish Council who supported us in many ways.

We hope you enjoyed the visit to Sherwood Forest on Fayre & Feast day. The bike was won by Mrs Priest from Caythorpe.
