St Oswald, Blankney Winter 2010

It was lovely to see a full church for our Harvest Festival Service on the evening of Thursday 7 October. We celebrated with a traditional evensong - with a slight twist!
The preacher, the Venerable Tim Barker, gave a sermon, very relevant to the modern rural community. Our churchwardens were delighted that so many people from our neighbouring parishes came to support us on this occasion, many of whom joined us for a most wonderful Harvest Supper in the Old School afterwards. Thanks go to everyone who made the evening such a great success and to all those who supported us. We hope to see you at our forthcoming Carol Service on Sunday 19 December at 4.30 pm - coffee, mince pies and maybe, mulled wine, will follow.
