Metheringham Parish Councillor Vacancies
for
TWO PARISH COUNCILLORS
[14th April 2011] We are currently seeking two resident's who are over 18 years of age and a British national or a qualifying citizen of the Commonwealth or the European Union. Registered on the electoral role and have lived or worked in the village for 12 months or more to become Parish Councillors.
Getting involved in the local community and helping with local issues is a very worthwhile way of making a contribution to the area in which we live and work. Do you have young children or teenagers and are interested in things that affect their lives? Are you concerned about our environment? How do you feel about planning issues? What about public transport? Local housing? Are you interested in local government finances, and where all our money goes? What can we do about anti-social behaviour? Do we need more local amenities?
HELP MAKE THE DECISIONS AT GRASS ROOTS LEVEL!
If you would like to be co-opted onto Metheringham, Sots Hole & Tanvats Parish Council, please do not hesitate to contact
Ms Sharon Wetherall - Clerk to the Council at PO Box 1055, Metheringham, LINCOLN, LN4 3WW, 0800 6343307, clerk@metheringham.org.uk for further information.
We look forward to hearing from you!
