News Magazine 43 - Summer 2011 - Editor's Corner

This month it certainly is 'Editor's Corner' as I have had to cram so much into this issue that I have virtually been left no room to write anything myself.

Anyway I hope the readers find a full and varied edition for the Summer. I must say though I am a little surprised that there are not many local 'events' taking place or is it just that I have not received them?

I think everyone will agree that Metheringham was certainly put on the map recently with the coverage received from BBC Look North for their celebration of the Royal Wedding. Well done to everyone involved (their report can be found in this issue). Now the band of organisers are setting to for the celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in June 2012 'OVER 4 DAYS' so watch this space.
