The players are busy rehearsing for the Christmas season - see performances below:

Tues 13 Dec Carol Service, Metheringham Methodist Church (7pm)

Sat 24 Dec Carols by Candlelight, Dunston Village Hall. 6pm - 7pm. With mulled wine! Free admission, retiring collection for Band funds.
Christmas Concert
The Band Christmas Concert is on Friday 2 December, 7pm - 8.30pm. Doors open at 6.30pm - come early to buy raffle tickets and try your luck on the 'bottle draw'! The players will be performing their most popular pieces from the 2011 repertoire as well as many festive favourites. Tea, coffee, etc available during the interval; admission is free - there will be a retiring collection for Band funds.
Vacancies
The Band is always looking for additional players in all sections, and would be particularly interested in hearing from trombone and bass players. For more information contact Helen or visit our website - details below.
Booking the Band
Just a word about booking the Band - if you would like the Band to play at any event you are organising please give as much notice as possible. The Band does usually make a charge for performing and all money goes directly to the Band in order to support the running costs.
