Barry's Christmas Lights Competition 2011

All Metheringham householders are welcome to enter Barry's Christmas Decorations Competition 2011.

As in the past, the winning display of seasonal house decorations will win the acclaimed Barry Saunders Shield, as displayed in the Info-Lincs. The winner will be selected by an impartial guest judge on Thursday 22nd December.

The competition is open to any householder within the immediate vicinity of Metheringham village. There is no entry fee but in order to be judged you will have to register at the Info Lincs office or with Karen's Kuts. Without your name and address the judge cannot come and view your property.

Lights for judging need to be switched on on the evening of Thursday 22nd December.

Please have your property accessible for viewing from the public highway on that afternoon/evening. As well as the trophy for the best display there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and results will be published around the village, in the local press and on the Macla website.
