Scopwick - Drivers Needed

VOLUNTARY CAR SCHEME

DRIVERS NEEDED

Did you know that the parish operates a Voluntary Car Scheme for the benefit of residents of Scopwick and Kirkby Green?

This scheme involves taking people who do not have their own transport, or who for medical reasons cannot use their own transport, to local hospitals which serve the area and to doctors' surgeries and emergency dental appointments.

Drivers are now desperately needed to keep the scheme up and running. It doesn't involve a lot of time, just an occasional hour or two. It is purely voluntary but expenses are paid at a fixed rate.

Details can be found by telephoning Mr Hugh Cardy on 01526 320500.
