Welcome to our first newsletter. I intend to put these newsletters out on a regular basis to keep you up to date with what is happening at the surgery.

Firstly, I ought to introduce myself....I am Jonathan Backhouse, the new practice manager. I have worked as a practice manager in a busy Lincoln city centre practice for the last 7 years. I am married with two children and live in Scothern, near Welton, on the north side of Lincoln. My wife works as a GP in Caistor.

All change at church walk.....

Church walk surgery has undergone some significant changes in the past month so I thought I would highlight what these have been ;

Dr Nick David has now retired
Dr Andy Buffey is our sole doctor
Sheena (Practice Manager) and Brenda (Practice Administrator) have both retired
Annette (Receptionist) has moved to pastures new
Emma and Tanya (new receptionists / dispensers) are joining us shortly

1. Introduction: The Chairman welcomed everyone to the 2011 Annual Village Meeting and emphasized it is a village meeting for the village electors. Copies of the minutes from the 2010 meeting and the agenda were available for members of the public.

2. Notes of the last meeting: The notes of the Annual Village Meeting held on 27th April 2010 were confirmed as a true record and signed by the Chairman.
