Scopwick Parish Council 2007 - 2008
The duties of a Parish Councillor are varied, as the Parish Council is responsible for many aspects of the village i.e. Street Lighting, Footpaths, Street Cleaning, Playing Fields the Annual Village Meeting held in April or May (open to all parishioners) and, of course, the Annual Fayre and Feast celebrations which are held in October.
Parish Council meetings normally take place in the Village Hall on the last Tuesday of every month, with the various, smaller sub-committees meeting as and when required. Check the Metheringham Area Events Diary for the dates of the next meeting.
